ANY SECOND.
CHECK IT YOURSELF.
Each eligible second has the same small chance of a snapshot, about one in 2,400 with the default rule (roughly 40 minutes on average). Waiting longer does not improve the odds for the next second. A round cannot fire before its minimum second and is forced to fire at its maximum second.
At the start of a round, the game seals a secret seed with a SHA-256 fingerprint called a commit. After the snapshot, it reveals the seed. Your browser checks that the seed matches the commit and independently calculates the first winning second.
A green VERIFIED means both checks match the published record. It does not verify payout delivery or server execution time. Save the current commit to compare with the revealed round later.

How the calculation works
Hash the seed text as UTF-8 using SHA-256 and compare it to the commit. Decode that same seed from hex into bytes to use as the HMAC key.
Starting at minSec, compute HMAC-SHA256 with that key and the decimal second as the message. Read the first six bytes as a big-endian integer and divide by 2^48. The first result below 1 / meanSec wins. If no earlier second wins, use maxSec. Compare this result with fireSec.
Verification runs locally with WebCrypto and yields regularly so you can keep using the page.
